The Selection
A meticulous curation of fragments, conceived as a creative act. Each shard of glass, shaped by the sea and time, carries its own story and unique hue. Depending on the tides, this raw material appears abundant or rare, offering an endless palette of colors, forms, and thicknesses.
From this diversity emerges a universe of glass: an imagined fauna and flora, fragile yet powerful, trees, corals, flowers… and symbolic objects that echo human gesture: a guitar, a vehicle, or Cinderella’s glass slipper.
Some fragments, centuries old, bear witness to the slow metamorphosis of matter: it can take up to four thousand years for glass to vanish completely. Here, it becomes language, memory, and creation.
